Welcome back from Thanksgiving Break!

This week in Spanish class 11/30 to 12/3:

6th Grade-

Monday: Finish Toy Story III activity

Tuesday: Practice pop test to help students prepare for Friday's test.

Wednesday: Review practice pop test. We will begin reviewing for Friday's test. Students will receive a study guide to help them prepare for the test. The study guide will also be posted under the student documents section of the blog.

Thursday: More test review.

Friday: Test Unit 2 on: time, AR verbs, Pronouns, classroom objects, and school Subjects.

8th Grade:

Monday: Finish Selena

Tuesday: Workbook pages.

Wednesday: Students will review for the vocabulary quiz on Friday.

Thursday: Review for the vocabulary quiz.

Friday: Vocabulary quiz.

This week in Spanish Class: 11/22/10 to 11/26/10

6th Grade:

Monday: Toy Story III Spanish activity. Binder check.

Tuesday: Toy Story III Spanish Activity. Binder check.

Wednesday-Friday: Off for Thanksgiving Break.

8th Grade:

Monday: Movie-Selena

Tuesday: Movie-Selena

Wednesday-Friday: Thanksgiving Break.

This week in Spanish Class: 11/15 to 11/19

6th Grade:

Monday: We will be in the computer lab playing games to help the students practice time in Spanish.

Tuesday: We will be playing jeopardy to help review for the time quiz on Friday.

Wednesday: We will be playing the time match up game in class. This is a competitive game that will help the students review.

Thursday: Field Trip to the museum.

Friday: Time quiz. Students will also be learning what they need to have for their first binder check.

8th grade:

Monday: Group presentations.

Tuesday: Group presentations.

Wednesday: Begin new chapter. Students will be completing an introduction to the chapter packet.

Thursday: Continue working on packets.

Friday: Begin learning vocabulary from the new chapter.

This week in Spanish class: 11/8 to 11/12

6th grade:

Monday: We will begin learning about time in Spanish. Students will complete a time packet as an introduction to time.

Tuesday: We will we doing more practice with time. Use the time link under helpful websites to help you practice telling time in Spanish.

Wednesday: Time scavenger hunt.

Thursday: More practice with time.

Friday: Time game.

8th Grade:

Monday: Begin working on Projects

Tuesday: Work on projects.

Wednesday: D.O.P. (Direct object pronoun) practice

Thursday: Review for D.O.P. quiz

Friday: D.O.P. QUIZ. Work on projects.

This week in Spanish Class: 11/1/10 to 11/5/10

6th grade:

Monday: Review for AR verb quiz tomorrow.

Tuesday: AR verb quiz and AR verb practice.

Wednesday: AR verb group assignment.

Thursday: Jr. Achievement (some classes will miss Spanish) The other classes will be playing AR verb BINGO.

Friday: Day of the Dead celebration. Please remember to bring in your $3 for the pinata and candy.

8th grade:

Monday: Day of the dead video.

Wednesday: Begin learning about weather terms.

Thursday: Weather practice
