I hope you had an AWESOME first week! I enjoyed meeting each of you and getting to know you!


8th Grade-

Monday:Pictionary vocabulary review game.

Tuesday and Wednesday: 7th grade review test.


Thursday: Begin review of 3.1 We will review talking on the phone vocabulary.

Friday: More review of 3.1 We will continue with talking on the phone vocabulary words.



6th Grade-

Monday: Review of greetings. Review the difference between greeting an adult and friends, family, or other kids. Practice conversations in Spanish.

Tuesday: Pictionary review game. We will be reviewing for Thursday's quiz.

Wednesday: Quiz review. Students will receive a chance to take a "practice quiz" so they will know what they are still having trouble with. We will review the answers to the "practice quiz" in class. (Don't worry it's not for a grade) You will also complete a flip book study guide. This will help you study at home.

Thursday: Quiz on greetings. The vocabulary words are listed below. After students are finished the quiz, they will complete a colors and countries worksheet.

Friday: Introduction to colors and countries. We will review the worksheet given in class the previous day. Students will begin to learn colors in Spanish, as well as Spanish speaking countries.

Bien=Well/fine/good Mas o menos=So, so Mal=bad

Buenos dias= Good morning/day Buenas tardes= good afternoon

Buenas noches= good night/evening Mucho gusto= Pleased to meet you

Como estas= How are you? (friend, family, kids) Estoy= I am Que tal=How are you?

Y tu= and you(friend, family, kid) Asi, Asi= so, so Enfermo(a)= sick

Enojado(a)= mad/angry Igualmente= Likewise/ you too

Como se llama= what's your name (adult, Mr. or Mrs.)

Como esta usted= How are you (adult, mr. or mrs. )

Y usted= and you (adult, mr. or mrs.)
